Daredevil brings out blind, bloody justice 《超胆侠》：蒙住双眼也要拯救世界

Superheroes always acquire their powers at a price,usually having to endure pain and torture. The Flash, for example, falls into anine-month coma before getting superhuman speed. But the price Daredevil paysis even bigger.
超级英雄拥有非比寻常的能力，却也往往为此付出了代价。他们不得不忍受痛苦、备受折磨。比如，闪电侠在获得极速超能力前昏迷了整整九个月，而超胆侠付出的比这还要多。

The blind hero hasbecome a hit on the small screen recently with self-titled drama series“Daredevil”, which premiered on Netflix on April 10 and has surpassed House ofCards in popularity.
4月10日，超胆侠同名电视剧在Netflix上一经播出，就大获成功、火热程度力压《纸牌屋》。

As a child, anaccident abnormally heightens Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox)’s senses. Henavigates the world by way of a sort of mystical sonar, listening in onpeople’s heartbeats to tell if they’re lying and using his gift to augment hisbalance and agility to superhuman levels. The consequence is he cannever see again.

During the day,Murdock runs a law firm with close friend Franklin Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson).As a lawyer, he has to face the cruel reality that even the law can’t sometimesright every wrong.

At night he becomesDaredevil, wearing a red, horned and armored suit to fight crimeand avenge his father, who was murdered after refusing to take a lossin a fixed boxing match.

But among his othercaped and super-suited counterparts, Daredevil’s abilities pale in comparison.
但是与其他斗篷加身、装备超群的超级英雄相比，超胆侠的能力变得相形见绌。

Unlike Batman, whohas a personal arsenal of advanced fighting equipment, and Spiderman, who canslingshot himself onto roofs and over walls, Daredevil relies mostly onhand-to-hand combat to survive. And sadly enough, in almost every episode ofthe show, we watch as he is badly battered by his opponents before narrowlysecuring a victory.
蝙蝠侠的“私人军火库”里满是先进武器；蜘蛛侠可以用蛛丝飞檐走壁；而超胆侠大多时候却是赤膊上阵。更虐心的是，几乎在每一集我们都会看到超胆侠被对手打得遍体鳞伤，最后勉强获胜。

“He’s not superstrong. He’s not invulnerable. In every aspect, he’s a man that’s just pushedhimself to the limits, he just has senses that are better than a normalhuman’s,” Steven S. DeKnight, the show’s executive producer, told entertainmentmagazine Paste. “He is human.”

But it’s thisvulnerability that’s brought the show its loyal following.

“It’s dark andgripping, smart and sure-footed, and takes itself and its audience seriouslywhile avoidingpretentious brooding,” wrote Jack Hamilton of Slate.com. “Sofar Daredevil is the best superhero television show I’ve ever seen.”
