荷兰马斯特里赫特:天堂书店, Dutch architecture firms SatijnPlus Architecten and Merkx Girodtransformed a decrepit 13th-century church into a spectacular bookstore in thecenter of Maastricht. A three-story bookcase houses volumes and offersincredible views of the restored sanctuary, while the choir area is now home toa café.

Shoppers can feast on words as well as food at this inventive bookshop inBrussels. Designed by interior architecture firm Delacroix & Friant, thestore is spread over two buildings and divided into nine uniquely decoratedsections, each with its own dining area. Books appear to hover above theblack-and-red fiction department, while an Airstream is the centerpiece of thetravel area.
