泰勒·斯威夫特的新专辑选择了80年代的流行音乐风格，创作这首歌

曲前，Taylor Swift听了很多80年代后期的流行音乐，并受到启发。这首歌的创作灵感来自泰勒平常自己的情感生活，泰勒前前后后经历了6个男朋友，都是以失败告终。在每次经历感情失败后，泰勒都会创作一首“失恋之歌”，而这一首《Shake it off》则是泰勒的一首自白，歌名《Shake It Off》的意为“摆脱它”，用歌曲的形式向世人表达“我不是你们想象的那样”。[1] [3] [2]
