You can in MyLeague I'm sure. I always turn the inflation rate to 55 instead of default (50) because I want some cap spikes every now and then like what happened last year.

Someone get the east to draft better and actually build good teams, a majority of the stars in the west were drafted there. Instead we have PG and potentially more guys moving into the conference that already has like 8 of the league's 10 best

I mean it's still kind of in their best interest though right, if you're a role player on a non contender you probably care a lot more about $10 million than who wins the playoffs.

The money would still be distributed in bonuses at the end of the year. The split would still be 50-50 between players and owners. Otherwise you couldn't blame the players union for taking the money they earned, but technically it was just to get the money early

All I can say is lol @ the player's union for their shortsightedness for not allowing some kind of cap smoothing to take place, which would have prevented KD and the Warriors from fucking up the playoffs. Yes, the Cavs fucked the East but their window is much narrower (e.g., Celts on the rise) and if not for KD joining the Warriors you'd likely be looking at a minimum of a 6 games series against a KD-less Warriors team or the Spurs w/ closer games.

对此我只能表示呵呵，眼光短浅的球员工会不允许工资帽平稳的进行增长，而这本可以阻止杜兰特和这支勇士毁了季后赛的。没错，骑士在东部也是碾压，但是他们的统治窗口要小得多（比如正在崛起的凯尔特人），而如果不是杜兰特加入勇士，骑士最起码可以和没有他的勇士打到第6场，马刺也本不会输的这么惨。
