Chinese press authorities said on Tuesday that 14,455 press cards have been canceled in national crackdowns on bogus journalists since the start of 2013.

国家新闻出版总署周二称，自从2013年年初开始打击假记者行动以来，已经吊销了14455张记者证。

“记者证”的英文表达是press card，记者有三种说法，reporter, correspondent和journalist。记者在平时工作时要杜绝假的informed sources（消息来源），防止假新闻的散播。

当前开展的打击“三假”行动的打击对象包括fake media（假媒体）、fake correspondent station （假记者站）和bogus reporter（假记者）。
